AUGMENTIN DUO 625MG TABLET is used to manage bacterial infections, including middle ear and sinus infections, respiratory tract infections, genital tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections such as dental infections, bone and joint infections, septic abortion, and abdominal infections. The symptoms of bacterial infection include fever, difficulty breathing, pus formation, and pain.

It contains a combination of medicines called, which belong to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It works by preventing the growth of bacteria and helps clear up the infection.

AUGMENTIN DUO 625MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you have liver problems or jaundice upon taking an antibiotic or amoxicillin-clavulanate. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are suffering from a hepatic impairment, liver disease, renal impairment, kidney disease, glandular fever, or are unable to pass water properly.

AUGMENTIN DUO 625MG TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if it is considered necessary. It should be used with caution in children (aged below 12 years) and elderly patients (above 50 years).

The common side effects associated with the use of AUGMENTIN DUO 625MG TABLET are diarrhea, thrush (fungal infection in the vagina, skin folds, or mouth), nausea, and vomiting. Contact your doctor immediately if any of the symptoms worsen.

Bacterial Infections

AUGMENTIN DUO 625MG TABLET is used for the treatment of bacterial infections, including middle ear and sinus infections, respiratory tract infections, genital tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, dental infections, bone and joint infections, septic abortion, abdominal infections, and abdominal infections.

Indications/Uses

Augmentin 375 (Amoxicillin-clavulanate) and 750 (clavulanate potassium) mg is a combination antibiotic that belongs to the amoxicillin-clavulanate class oftetracycline. It is effective against a wide range of infections, including those that are not properly controlled by amoxicillin. It is often prescribed for bacterial infections such as ear infections (e.g. Ot work in an affected area), urinary tract infections (e.g. Ur infections), respiratory tract infections (e.g. Bronchitis), infections of the skin and soft tissue, muconation of the eye, that is, for example conjunctivitis. Dosage:

Augmentin 375 (Amoxicillin-clavulanate) is available in various dosages, including Augmentin 750 (clavulanate potassium) mg (liquid suspension).Each liquid suspension contains 125 mg of amoxicillin and 750 mg of clavulanic acid.

Recommended Dosage Levels:

The maximumdosage level in a normal population is 100 mg per day, so a starting dose level of 25 mg per day is often selected based on individual patient needs.Augmentin 375 (Amoxicillin-clavulanate) should be taken in the dose and duration as follows:

• First-pass fat clearance should be eliminated in the abdominal fat, as this can slow the absorption of clavulanate potassium in the intestine.
• Liquid formulations containing amoxicillin and clavulanic acid should be taken at a level of 2.5 mg/kg and 5 mg/kg, respectively.
• Paediatric population (aged 14 years or above): Clavulanic acid should be usedifthe risk of developing a invasive infection is higher than that associated with amoxicillin.
• Children 12 years of age and older: For treating sinusitis, age should be carefully considered as a point of departure. Therefore, if a child is infected with Staph aureus and is receiving Augmentin 375 (Amoxicillin-clavulanate), the dosage should be adjusted by weight to 2.5 mg/kg or 5 mg/kg, based on the speed at which the infection is progressing and the child's body weight, respectively. It is also crucial that children aged 14 years or aboveareolesteraeic, requiring a lower dosage of clavulanate potassiumin the liquid form to promote their infection-fighting potential.

It is important, however, that clavulanic acid is taken consistently at the same time of day as used in infection management protocols. Some foods can affect clinical efficacy. Therefore, when using Augmentin 375 (Amoxicillin-clavulanate) for the treatment of acute sinusitis, it is important to take it at a level of 2.5 mg/kg and 5 mg/kg, based on clinical experience. Augmentin 375 (Amoxicillin-clavulanate) can be taken with or without food, however, it is generally more effective, if taken with food, as it maintains clinical levels of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid in the intestinal tract.

What are AUGMENTIN DUO and AUGMENTIN DUO FORTE tablets used for?

AUGMENTIN tablets contain both amoxycillin and clavulanic acid.

AUGMENTIN tablets are tablets used to treat a range of infections.

AUGMENTIN tablets have been shown to provide effective tablets for use with a broad spectrum antibiotic.

AUGMENTIN tablets are used to treat a wide range of infections.

Amoxycillin - Tablets taken with AUGMENTIN tablets are for use with penicillin-type antibiotics.

Clavulanic Acid - Tablets used with AUGMENTIN tablets is for use with amoxicillin-type antibiotics.

Amoxycillin and clavulanic acid are both powerful antibiotic medicines. They are not considered to be at the same level of quality or of the same strength.

Clavulanic Acid - Tablets taken with AUGMENTIN tablets are for use with ampicillin or erythromycin.

Ampicillin and/or erythromycin may also be used for the treatment of infections caused by resistant to other penicillins, such as pneumonia.

This medicine should not be used at the same time as AUGMENTIN tablets.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking AUGMENTIN DUO or AUGMENTIN DUO FORTE tablets if you have any of the following conditions:

• • a history of hypersensitivity (allergy, fcus, etc.)
  • a history of pepticulitis, intestinal infections, liver problems, kidney problems, sexual problems, etc.
  • a history of gout or other inflammatory diseases of the gut or of systemic lupus erythematosus.

Erythromycin - Tablets taken with AUGMENTIN tablets are at the same level of quality and of the same same strength as amoxicillin.

All products containing clavulanic acid are superior to the other medicines in this group in treating bacterial infections.

Even though not all people have bacterial infections, all medicines are effective and very effective.

AUGMENTIN tablets can be used even when symptoms resolve in some patients with gout.

AUGMENTIN tablets are for topical use.

Many patients have specific needs of AUGMENTIN tablets. A wide range of patients is recommended for taking this medicine.

Before taking AUGMENTIN tablets let your doctor know if:

• you have ever had an allergic reaction to AUGMENTIN tablets, or any of the other patients treatment with AUGMENTIN tablets.
• any skin rash, itching, swelling, burning or stinging after taking AUGMENTIN tablets.
• severe insomnia or sleep disturbance after taking AUGMENTIN tablets.

Some of the symptoms of an allergic reaction may include skin rash, itching or dizziness, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or other parts of the body.

AUGMENTIN (AMOXICILLIN-125)
